When I used to make my mom angry, she would say, “One day when you have kids, you will understand how I feel.”

I used to always think, “Oh yeah?  I’m never having kids!  So there!”

Joke’s on me.  Now sometimes I want to say to Joshua, “One day when you have kids, you’ll understand how I feel!”

I know I’ve given my mom many headaches and a few heart attacks.  Through it all, she never stopped loving me.
