I feel like I’ve been slacking off on this blog lately. I’m sorry. This will be rectified very soon.
Cliff is now working 4 days a week, so I am on my own with the kids more. Maybe that’s why I feel just a bit more tired than usual. We try to squeeze in as much family time as possible, including going to the park, going to music class, aquarium, playdates, etc.
Today while our doula was here, I sneaked out to go to the gym. I got a one-month trial pass, so I figured I’d try out some classes. Savanna is almost 6 months old, and I can no longer justify wearing maternity pants with “I JUST had a baby”, because I didn’t JUST have a baby. I used to go to the gym (eons ago) and really enjoyed box fit type classes, so I went to that today. After the first 10-minute warm-up, I was ready to throw up. I won’t go on to tell you how I sucked. Let’s just say I had a workout and I won’t be able to move much tomorrow.
