I hope you didn’t click on the blog link just because of the title. Leg warmers have nothing to do with giant bubbles. This post is more of a quick update on what we’ve been up to.
The weather has been warming up lately. Sometimes at home I just dress Savanna in a onsie. When we went out for a walk the other day, it was too warm for her winter bunting suit, so I put her jacket and a pair of leg warmers on. I thought she looked so cute. I’ve become one of those moms who thinks her baby is the cutest in the world.
I ordered a giant bubble kit from Amazon. Yes, sometimes I buy useless things for my kids. Anyway. I just thought it would be lots of fun. It turns out that I am way more interested in the bubbles than Joshua is. As you can see in the picture below, it does make really big bubbles, and Joshua likes to chase them. What you cannot see, is that his attention on the bubbles last about 17 seconds, but I am mesmerized by these giant bubbles. So we go play in the park, Joshua is off somewhere digging in the dirt after he got tired of the bubbles, and I’m standing there holding Savanna and demanding that Cliff continue to produce big bubbles to entertain me.
In other unrelated news, we’ve booked our trip back to Asia this summer. We are very excited. It will be Joshua’s third time going to Taiwan, but it’ll be Savanna’s first time. We have done a short haul flight with both kids (to Anaheim) and it was fine. It’ll be interesting to see how they do on a long haul flight. To be honest, I am not looking forward to the flight part, but I can’t wait to be fed by my parents!
