While the sky was clear for about 30 minutes this morning, we packed up the gang and went to buy a Christmas tree from the high school near us. Last year Joshua sat in the hiking backpack when we went to buy a tree, because he wasn’t walking yet. This year, he ran wild in the entire tree lot.
I’m not sure if he understands the significance of having a Christmas tree at home, but he was quite excited all day seeing a tree in our living room. Each time he walked into the living room, he points to the tree and exclaims with a big smile, “Christmas tree!”
So far, he has only thrown and broken ONE glass ornament. We have enough for him to break one a day until Christmas day. Ha!
