About two weeks ago, Joshua started to crawl backwards. He would start on his tummy, get on his hands and knees, pump his little butt in the air, and then push himself backwards.
He got better and better at the pushing back part. Eventually he became so efficient at it that he can go the length of the living room quite quickly. However, this also resulted in him often getting himself stuck under the couch.
While I was preparing dinner tonight, I left him on the floor to play. A couple of minutes later, I hear him crying. I look over and found him stuck under the couch like this:
I did consider for 1/2 a second if I should rescue him first. But I decided that when he grows up, he’ll appreciate having a picture of him like this.
